the beauty of forgiveness

finding our way. it’s not an easy path. rocks and holes may cause us to stumble.

brian made it onto the golf course with me yesterday. it was his decision to be out in the air, playing a game where he had to be in stillness, comfortable with the silence, comfortable with the memories he has of his business partner of 20 plus years, a partner who loved to golf, a partner who turned his back on him, when all he wanted was to be understood.

facing the fear, the memory, and letting it go. sometimes that’s what it takes to move on, to get unstuck, find forgiveness, and discover love.

the grass so green, the air so clear, the sky so blue. it was a beautiful day, truly. and i’m so grateful.
