spending time in nature

i’m driving to austin, texas with my husband and our four dogs.  we’re driving in an rv and camping along the way…stopping at the grand canyon and sedona.  singing songs at the top of our lungs,  laughing at our dogs, and taking wild photos of the most astonishing sights.  finding internet in the middle of nowhere is difficult, but it certainly allows us to disconnect from the city and reconnect with each other and nature.

being in nature reminds me of the connection we each have with the flow of the universe.  as we find ourselves busy with our jobs, our commitments and obligations, we often forget the importance of being in stillness with nature. my awareness with the expansiveness of the sky, the stars, the fresh air, is all i need to experience the miracles of our universe.  it brings me to tears as i am filled with such gratitude and tremendous peace.
